Forward Your Wharton Gmail to a Personal Mail Inbox (Students)

These steps will allow you to forward any future email sent to either your Wharton Gmail or your Alumni Forwarding Address to a personal email inbox.

1. Navigate to https://apps.wharton.upenn.edu/iam/forwarding/
2. Login with your PennKey credentials if prompted
3. Click the "Forward My Mail" tab
4. Enter the address you want mail forwarded to in the box
5. Click Update

2. Login with your PennKey credentials if prompted
3. Select "Send to Google (Unforward)"
4. Select your preferred default sending address
5. Click Update

Sending as your Wharton School Address (Short Address) or Alumni Forwarding Address from your personal Gmail account is not recommended due to limitations in functionality, however, if you would prefer this method, you can set it up by following the directions in one of the following articles:

• Send as your Alumni Forwarding Address from your Personal Gmail (Students)

• Forwarded email is not stored on Wharton email servers and cannot be recovered by Wharton. It bypasses our email server security measures and is not scanned for viruses or processed through the spam filters.
   
• If you would like to send email from your personal account using your Wharton address, you will need to specify the "reply to" address as your Wharton address. This is required by security measures in place on the Wharton email servers.
  Note: Not all email programs allow you to set the "reply to" address.
